Pachyammos Beach
A forgotten, deserted beach, where you feel at one with the salty air.
How to get there: The beach lies just below the chuch of St Raphael the miricle maker at Pachyammos. Before the church, an asphalted road leads down to the beach, with dirt tracks going off it.
The Beach: It is very long and the water is very shallow, making swimming quite safe.
Preperation: You definalty need an umbrella as well as blow-up beach beds, since towels are not much use on the hard-packed sand. An icebox with water, fruit and light food are also essential. For a full meal there is the Canali fish restaurant at Pomos Harbour (10 minutes by car)
Tip: Take care when parking alond the beach because the sand can subside in places.
Learn MoreParadise Beach
Fully associated with the bar of the same name in Pomos, this beach enchants at first site.
How to get there: You will find it at the begining of Pomos, on a bend just before Paradise Bar. It can be accessed only by foot.

Preperation: This being a remote beach, an icebox and an umbrella are deemed essential. At Paradise, you may have a meal or cool down with cold coffees and drinks. For fish meza, take a ride to Canali at Pomos harbour, for its fresh fish as well as Mrs Anna’s sweets.
Tip: From Paradise Bar veranda, watch the burning red sun plunging into the sea to the accompaniment of chillout, ethnic and jazz music. An annual jazz festival is organised here each September.
