A 7am start from the harbour and a 4km boat ride out to sea will get you to the fishing grounds where. if its your day (and if its between may and september) one of these majestic predators of the deep will bite your line,temptingly dangling overboard with the lure the size of a banana. dinos, and experienced fisherman and deep sea diver, will then help you paralyse your muscular trophy and bleed it to death, an operation clearly not for the faint hearted. Dinos, like all fisherman, has to adhere to the agreed catch levels set by the fisheries department and his boat is spot checked for the number of fish cought, so he is enviromentally aware and doesnt overfish the stocks. One word of warning, however to any women whomay be tempted by this hemingway-type, 4 hour adventure; there are no ladies toilet facilities on board, in fact there are no facilities at all, but there is alot of football talk…
