Paradise Beach

Fully associated with the bar of the same name in Pomos, this beach enchants at first site.

How to get there:  You will find it at the begining of Pomos, on a bend just before Paradise Bar.  It can be accessed only by foot.

The Beach:  With thick sand and pebbles, it is no more than 50 metres long.  The rich orange colour of the rocks delightfully contrasts with the blue sea, conjouring up magical images.  The sea suddenly gets deep after 3 or 4 metres.

Preperation:  This being a remote beach, an icebox and an umbrella are deemed essential.  At Paradise, you may have a meal or cool down with cold coffees and drinks.  For fish meza, take a ride to Canali at Pomos harbour, for its fresh fish as well as Mrs Anna’s sweets.

Tip:  From Paradise Bar veranda, watch the burning red sun plunging into the sea to the accompaniment of chillout, ethnic and jazz music.  An annual jazz festival is organised here each September.
